Decentralised Presales & Risk management

Unicrypt decentralised presales are finally here. After successfully completing our audit with chainsulting, we are ready to move onto mainnet release. We are super excited to have finally bridged presales, market initialisation and liquidity locking on the #1 uniswap liquidity locking platform.

Risks

Before we go further its worth mentioning the risks involved in decentralised presales. We believe in creating free tech, that anyone can use for their project. Much like uniswap or our lockers where anyone can list their tokens, our presale platform allows any token to list a presale. This means we have no say in which tokens use this platform. It is completely open. The following are some risks present in a presale.

Minting — If a token contract has minting it is possible for the developers to mint as many tokens as they may like and dump it on the market

Proxies — If a token is behind a proxy, the contract can be changed in future to anything they would like. Including freezing token transfers and minting more tokens. Anything is theoretically possible.

Developer abandonment — The highest risk is developers abandoning a project quite literally immediately after the presale.

It is important to conduct your own research into a project before participating in a presale.

What is the Unicrypt Presale Platform?

A completely decentralised and automated presale platform connected to our liquidity lockers. Every presale has to lock between 30–100% of the raised ETH / DAI / USDC as counter liquidity to the sale token.

In order to prevent someone initiating markets in an unfavourable rate, please bear in mind if you participate in a presale your tokens will be held in the contract until the presale has completed. Once a presale ends (softcap reached by endblock, or hardcap reached) a publicly callable function will show on the presale page allowing anyone to end the presale, create a uniswap pair, lock liquidity and allow withdrawals of the sale token.

I believe we have made the easiest to use presale platform to date, with as much information as possible on the presale pages, things like tokenomics, discussion areas, and links to the tokens website and social media.

Presales are conducted in two rounds.

Round 1

Reserved for UNCX and UNCL holders and lasts 2 hours.
In order to participate your wallet will need to hold either
4 UNCX or 50 UNCL. If a white list is enabled and the presale is private you will need to be on the whitelist to get in, as well as holding the above-mentioned tokens for round 1.

Round 2.

If the presale doesn't sell out in the first 2 hours it moves on to round 2. In round 2 anyone can participate (no need to hold UNCX or UNCL). This round is still subject to a whitelist check if the presale creator chose to make the sale private.

If you are unsure of a token please check with groups such as War On Rugs (https://twitter.com/WARONRUGS) and Solid Group (https://t.me/solidgroup) if the contract has any exploits. I think these guys are doing an amazing job calling out tokens on uniswap with exploits in their code.

I hope you all enjoy using this new part of our ever-growing platform as much as we did making it. Be sure to give feedback in our telegram if you have any ideas :)
